About Yunti Gudao
Twenty years of nursery work behind every box we ship
We are a grower-exporter from Zhouzhi, Shaanxi, on the northern slope of the Qinling Mountains. Virus-free nursery stock, cooperative orchards, a customs-registered packing house and a processed kiwifruit line all sit under one company — so the fruit, the seedlings and the paperwork come from the same people.

The company
Who you are actually dealing with
Plenty of exporters can quote you a price on Zhouzhi kiwifruit. Very few can tell you which block the fruit came from, who grafted the plant, and which registration the carton was packed under — because most of them buy on the open market.
We are the registered entity behind the orchard, the nursery and the packing house. That is the short version of why our specifications hold from season to season.

Why Zhouzhi
The county that grows kiwifruit best in China
Zhouzhi sits where the Qinling Mountains fall away to the Wei River plain. Warm days, cold nights, and a wide day-night temperature swing slow the fruit down on the vine — that is what builds dry matter, and dry matter is what decides how a kiwi fruit tastes after three weeks in a container.
The county plants more than 40,000 mu of kiwifruit and harvests over 500,000 tonnes a year, with grading houses, cold stores and packing suppliers all within a short drive. Zhouzhi kiwifruit carries a national geographical indication, and our cooperative blocks sit on the Qinling foothills, away from industrial zones.
- Cool nights and a wide temperature swing build sugar and dry matter
- Qinling runoff water and organic-rich foothill soils
- 40,000 mu county cluster: grading, cold storage and packing on the doorstep
- Blocks chosen on the Qinling foothills, outside industrial areas
Nursery
Where our fruit actually starts
We ran a nursery for more than twenty years before export became the bigger half of the business. That is unusual for a fruit exporter, and it is the reason our fresh fruit specification is stable: the plant material is ours.
Rootstock from Qinling seedlings
We graft onto seedling rootstock raised from Qinling kiwifruit, selected for root mass and disease tolerance so plants establish in different soils and climates.
Scion wood from our own mother block
Every scion is cut from our certified mother orchard, not bought in. That is how variety purity is kept intact and off-types are kept out of your planting.
Shoot-tip virus elimination
Meristem tissue culture removes virus load before multiplication, which cuts the risk of bacterial canker and lengthens the productive life of the orchard.
Graded before it leaves
Root length, stem thickness and plant health are checked and graded at lifting, so a carton of seedlings is uniform rather than a lucky dip.
Varieties we multiply and grow
CuixiangرويوXuxiangهايواردHongyangJinguoJintaoJinhong
Over one million plants have gone to growers in Shaanxi, Sichuan, Guizhou and Jiangxi. Export orders are matched to the variety that fits your storage window and market, not to whatever is surplus that year.
Orchard management
Five unifications behind a consistent carton
Cooperative farming only works if someone holds the standard. Across more than 3,000 mu we run the same five controls, which is why a carton from one grower matches a carton from another.
Fruit is grown on Qinling foothill blocks with reduced synthetic fertiliser, added organic matter, and green pest control — pheromone and light traps, microbial agents, and low-toxicity sprays only where needed. After picking, fruit is pre-cooled, graded on automated lines and held in controlled-atmosphere storage, with a quality record running from nursery block through to the port of loading.
One seedling source
Every block is planted with our own graded, virus-tested plants, so vigour and maturity stay even across growers.
One input list
Fertiliser and crop protection are issued from a single approved list and logged per block, not chosen grower by grower.
One field standard
Pruning, thinning, irrigation and green pest control follow the same calendar, with our agronomists walking the blocks.
One harvest rule
Picking is set by sugar reading and maturity, not by the calendar or by a buyer’s urgency to load early.
One packing line
Grading, carton and traceability code are applied in our registered packing house, whoever grew the fruit.
Company + cooperative + growers
Why our volume does not disappear in a bad year
We farm through a cooperative model: the company holds the standard and the market, Zhouzhi Shan Gou Gou Kiwifruit Professional Cooperative organises the growers, and close to 200 households farm the blocks. Purchase prices are agreed before the season and technical help goes to the field, not just to a contract.
For a buyer this matters more than it sounds. A single-owner orchard is one hailstone away from missing your programme. A cooperative base across 3,000 mu spreads that risk, and because growers are paid on an agreed basis they bring their best fruit to us instead of selling it elsewhere when prices move.
- 3,000+ mu of cooperative blocks under joint management
- Close to 200 grower households in the programme
- Agreed purchase terms before the season starts
- Field agronomists supporting growers through the cycle
